There is a growing interest from member-writers to form additional writers' groups with specific focus. If you are seeking support in the writing of a biography or memoir - from research to writing, or with the process of writing a non-fiction book of an academic or technical nature, please contact me.

Mechanics' Institute writers' groups are for members only, and meet at times determined by the writers who participate in each group. The Library offers space to meet, a collection of support materials for writers, individual webpages on The Mirror, reviewing by the member-panel of professional reviewers, and programming to support wrtiers' interest and education.
