Join MI members in March for the first of a series of four books focused on California Dreamers - men and women who have been inspired by the Golden State to follow their dreams.  The authors of these books have articulated a personal vision of their "California Dreams".  Some of the dreamers are already in California, others en route, and still others destined never to make it.  But common to all is California, whether as subject of backdrop, the inspiration for these Califonia Dreamers! The discussions will be led by MI member and trustee Charles Sullivan.

The first book of the series is Assembing California by John McPhee, a geological field trip that explains the physical makeup of California with humor and analogies understandable by the non-scientific reader.

Thursday, March 14, 4:00-5:30pm, 4th floor Board Room. Registration is required.
