When Boyang, Ruyu and Moran were young, they would share two bicycles among the three of them while exploring Beijing. Then they are involved in a mysterious accident, and their friendships splinter. Now grown up, all three are trying to come to terms with their actions and self doubt. Moran and Ruyu live in the United States, Boyang is a successful businessman in China, yet all three are haunted by what really happened when they were young.
