Chess.com - Clubs League - Season 2

Any and all players who wishes to participate in this league representing Mechanics' MUST be a part of our online club on chess.com:

Important extracts from it:
- Season 2 regular season will be Saturday, November 7 through Saturday, December 19, 2020. The top 16 clubs in each division will qualify for the playoffs, to be played in January 2021.
- The League will have weekly matches on seven (7) consecutive Saturdays
- November 7 vs Rio Grande Valley Rising Stars: Win 1.5-.5 =1point

Recommended time for team matches: Saturdays 10AM

Each match will have the following format:
* time control: 15 min + 5 sec increment
* games: 2, one with white, one with black, against the same opponent. (rematch happens automatically and does not wait for other games in round 1 to finish)
* 3 Sections within each match:
1800+, 1400-1800, and under1400.
Note: since these matches are playing on chess.com, the rating that will determine which section a player plays in will be chess.com's rapid rating.
Standings: there's nothing at stake, but for entertainment, we keep track of standings. Teams score 1 point for each section that they win in a given match.
So one could win 3-0, 2-1, lose 1-2, or lose 0-3, or tie is 1.5-1.5.
