This workshop is designed to help independent authors overcome the most challenging issues in book marketing, including how to plan for a successful book launch. The half-day educational and motivational program will address the five essential areas of building your self-promotion platform: identity, scheduling, growing your fan-base, connecting with influencers, and measuring results. Judy Baker is a situational extrovert who helps writers reach more readers and build author brands. She takes the mystery out of marketing using her skills in theatre arts, graphic design, marketing, and coaching to educate, entertain, and engage. Baker is managing partner of Book Marketing Mentor, past President of The Bay Area Independent Publishers Association, BAIPA); on the Board of the Bay Area Consultants Network (BACN); Membership Chair of Redwood Writers and Redwood Writers Academy. A member of the Napa Valley Writers Club and the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA).

She earned an MHROD from USF, B.A. in Drama from San Diego State University, certificate in Applied Graphics from Santa Rosa Junior College, is a Certified Action Plan Marketing Coach, and engagement marketing expert living in Sonoma, California. A memoir/guidebook about surviving and thriving with ovarian cancer as a wellness warrior is in progress.
