Do you play chess? Do you wish you played chess? Have you played a few times but have been intimidated about playing more?

If any of these things apply to you, come to the Mechanics Institute in San Francisco for our free women-only chess classes! Classes are held every Sunday between 11am-1pm.

We are the oldest chess club in the country, and offer a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Players from novice to intermediate level are welcome. Start anytime!

Children under the age of twelve years should not be left unattended during classes.
