Litquake’s Comfort Lit: Books that Make You Feel Better, a co-sponsored lunchtime series at Mechanics’ Institute featuring books to make you smile and bring down your blood pressure, will continue through September. On July 24, author Roman Muradov will talk about his book, On Doing Nothing: Finding Inspiration in Idleness examines the need for doing less to achieve creativity and happiness. Rachel Levin provides vital and playful wildlife tips in, Look Big and Other Tips for Surviving Animals Encounters of All Kinds, on August 21st, and on September 11th, authors Alexandra and David Brown will talk about their co-authored book, A Year Off: A Story About Traveling the World -- and How to Make It Happen for You. Anyone traveling the world whose quiet moment drinking wine in a glade is interrupted by a bear or moose will be admirably prepared.
