Amy Tsilemanis is an artist, producer, researcher, and current PhD candidate at Federation University Australia. Based in Ballarat, she loves the city and helping to tell its stories past and present.
Her work explores creative ways of activating the past, through events, exhibitions, performances, trails, and multimedia. She is interested in how these activations might celebrate or challenge the past, invigorate the present, and help to guide us forward. She is currently producing the Ballaarat Mechanics’ Instititute’s first Open Day.
