Mechanics' Institute is thrilled to announce the formation of our very own member-led Poetry Writers' Group. This is a unique chance to be part of a close-knit community of poets, dedicated to exploring the artistry of poetry in depth.
Our inaugural meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, from 2:00-4:00 pm in Third Floor Library Classroom B. Mark your calendars and be part of the beginning of something truly special.
Why You Should Join:
- Connect with Other Poets: This is an intimate group of committed poets, including three Mechanics' Institute members already devoted to this venture. We're extending the invitation to three to five more poets to complete this group.

- Perform and Publish: If you have experience in performing or publishing poetry, this is the perfect platform to enhance your skills and explore new opportunities together.
We're Looking for:
- Writers (age 21+) with a genuine passion for poetry.
- Individuals who have experience in performing or publishing their work.
- Members who are committed to attending regular meetings once every two weeks and contributing to the group’s growth.
