The Writers' Lunch is virtually back! This month Rick Homan will moderate the discussion What's In It For You? When you have published your work (with a publisher, self-published, on a blog, or otherwise) what do you want? Recognition from your peers? Fun with fans? Lots of money? Influence on society? What result would satisfy you? Marketing gurus tells us we must know what we want before we decide how to publish and market a book. Maybe we should even know what we want before we write.
At Writers' Lunch, at noon on Friday, April 15, members of the Mechanics Institute Library and visitors from around the world will "Zoom in" and share their motivations. Join us, share and learn.
Panelists include Ivy Ge, Bob Muller and David King. Join us, share and learn!
The Writers' Lunch is a casual brown-bag lunch activity on the 3rd Friday of each month. Look forward to mini-reviews on books that have been added to our "literary craft" collection, informal presentations by member writers, and excellent conversation. Please contact Taryn Edwards if you have any questions or if you would like to be a panelist. [email protected]
