We want blurbs for our books. How do you get them? In this workshop we cover the step-by-step actions for cultivating connections, building long-term relationships with influencers, and the value of being generous. Bring your laptop but if you need to borrow one, please contact Taryn Edwards, tedwards@milibrary.org.

Judy Baker is a situational extrovert who helps writers reach more readers and build author brands. She takes the mystery out of marketing using her skills in theatre arts, graphic design, marketing, and coaching to educate, entertain, and engage. Baker is managing partner of Book Marketing Mentor, past President of The Bay Area Independent Publishers Association, BAIPA); on the Board of the Bay Area Consultants Network (BACN); Membership Chair of Redwood Writers and Redwood Writers Academy. A member of the Napa Valley Writers Club and the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA).

She earned an MHROD from USF, B.A. in Drama from San Diego State University, certificate in Applied Graphics from Santa Rosa Junior College, is a Certified Action Plan Marketing Coach, and engagement marketing expert living in Sonoma, California. A memoir/guidebook about surviving and thriving with ovarian cancer as a wellness warrior is in progress.
