Teacherless Writing
A member-led writing group

Thursday, August 23, 2018 - 11:00am to 1:00pm
Repeats every week every Thursday until Fri Nov 30 2018.

Using the guidelines described in Writing Without Teachers, this member-led "come as you are" writing group is open to all Mechanics' Institute members. Look forward to timed free writes with every participant having the opportunity to share their writing. Feedback is given according to the "movies of the mind" structure in Elbow.

Participants are encouraged to read Writing Without Teachers by Peter Elbow; the group will start by discussing principles in this book at the beginning of each session.

This group meets every Thursday in the 3rd Floor Library Classroom B from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
