Confounded by anything to do with taxes? Bonnie Lee will set you straight. For more than three decades, she has specialized in humorously making tax issues clearer to creative individuals and small business.
Bonnie Lee is an Enrolled Agent admitted to practice and representing taxpayers in all fifty states at all levels within the Internal Revenue Service. Lee founded Taxpertise (formerly Symmetry Business Services) in 1982 to represent taxpayers in audits, offers in compromise, tax problem resolution, tax preparation, tax planning, and to help non-filers safely re-enter the tax system. For more than three decades, she has specialized in tax issues relating to individuals and small business. She is the author of Taxpertise, The Complete Book of Dirty Little Secrets and Tax Deductions for Small Business that the IRS Doesn't Want You to Know published in 2009. She also has written two novellas, Taxpertise for the Creative Mind which is geared to those in the arts including writers and Taxpertise The Heist, 50 Shades of Green, a fictional comedy adventure that also provides factual tax tips and resolutions for people experiencing tax problems. Taryn Edwards is a Librarian, Historian and Strategic Partnerships Manager for the Mechanics' Institute. She manages the writers activities there and works with other nonprofits to achieve mutual goals. Currently the Mechanics' Institute hosts 13 writers groups and a wealth of other activities aimed at the writing community of the San Francisco Bay Area.
