This event will take place via Zoom.
Whatever you're writing, imagery brings your material to life. Effective imagery goes far beyond flowery description to reveal character, mood, context, tone, setting, and theme. In this immersive workshop, we'll explore how imagery works through short writing exercises and analysis of effective examples. This class is suitable for writers of all levels looking to improve a work in progress or to start something new.
Bring up to 3 pages of already written work to the first session, or come with a blank screen. Either way, you’ll leave class with new ideas and skills at using imagery to make your words come alive. All are welcome.
For each class, we reserve the right to cancel at any time and issue a full refund. If you are unable to attend your class, please email firstname.lastname@example.org at least ten days prior to receive a refund. All fees must be paid at the time of registration.
