Le Amiche
Directed by Michelangelo Antonioni

A successful couturier returns to her birthplace of Turin days after the end of WWII. While she relaxes at the best hotel, the calm subsides when she glances into the hallway only to witnesses an unconscious young woman being carried away due to a Veronal overdose. Le Amiche was directed my Michelangelo Antonioni and received the Vince Film Festival’s Silver Lion award in 1955.
