Toastmasters Open House Meeting

Are you interested in becoming more adept at public speaking? If so come to this open house and enjoy a bit of lunch with the "Crownmasters" -- a local chapter of Toastmasters. Toastmasters is a grass roots organization devoted to helping individuals become more comfortable, more relaxed and more adept at public speaking. Many people have a fear and reluctance to speak in public, yet may be called upon to do so in their professional or personal lives. It is a life skill that can be improved with practice in a welcoming environment, which is exactly what Toastmasters provides. Toastmasters has been around since 1905, 113 years, and has more than 357,000 members, attending one of the 16,600 clubs in 143 countries. Crownmasters meets every Thursday at the Mechanics' Institute (4th Floor Board Room, from 12-1pm)  -- if this date doesn't work check them out on a different Thursday.
