Do you find yourself wildly curious about the world? Love talking to strangers about their fields of expertise? Writing feature articles for newspapers and magazines allows you to dive deeply into fascinating topics and get paid for the adventure.
In this workshop, we’ll talk about how to come up with feature article ideas, and how to find and interview expert sources. Participants will learn how to identify and approach magazine and newspaper editors with a story pitch, and how to craft a feature article. A bibliography will include numerous professional resources so that you can immediately start pitching and writing feature articles.
