Winter's Tale
by William Shakespeare

The King of Bohemia, Polixenes, visits the court of an old friend Leontes, King of Sicilia. When Leontes suspects that his pregnant wife is carrying the child of Polixenes, he attempts to persuade a courtier, Camillo, to poison his old friend. Winter's Tale is one of Shakespeare's last plays. Defined by modern critics as either pastoral, romance, comedy or tragedy, visit the World Literature book group to discuss this work of a master playwright.

This group meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month (excluding holidays). All MI members are welcome to drop in to these meetings.
