The Writers Lunch is virtually back! This month's topic: Demystifying Scrivener. Scrivener is one of the most popular pieces of writing software available, and it's filled with useful features for crafting your opus. In this edition of Writers' Lunch, Colleen Riordan will show us the basics of using Scrivener for writing and organizing your novel. She will highlight the most useful features for editing, tracking your progress, and storing research material and she'll answer any questions you may have. Join us, share, and learn and swap Scrivener tips!
Colleen Riordan writes middle grade, young adult, and adult fiction including fantasy, mystery, and the occasional ghost story. When she isn't writing, Colleen teaches book marketing at Wild Ink Marketing. She is also the Alameda County co-coordinator for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and a committee member for Bay Area Women in Publishing (BAWiP). Find out more at WildInkMarketing.com or on Instagram and Twitter @colleenmriordan.
The Writers Lunch is a casual brown-bag lunch activity on the 3rd Friday of each month. Look forward to mini-reviews on books that have been added to our "literary craft" collection, informal presentations by member writers, and excellent conversation. Join us, share, and learn! Please contact Taryn Edwards if you have any questions. [email protected]
