The Writers' Lunch: The Places We Write About
moderated by Rick Homan

This event will be conducted via Zoom. Register and you will be emailed the Zoom credentials.

The Writers' Lunch is virtually back! This month Rick Homan will moderate a discussion about "the places we write about." Some novelists say the setting is a character. Others create fantasy worlds. Some readers choose books set in a favorite place. Some journalists make a career of chronicling a single place. Some bookstores have a section called “Armchair Travel.” How does place inform your writing?

Panelists include Samantha Durbin, Robert Weston, and Jeffrey J. Loustau. Join us, share and learn.

The Writers' Lunch is a casual brown-bag lunch activity on the 3rd Friday of each month. Look forward to mini-reviews on books that have been added to our "literary craft" collection, informal presentations by member writers, and excellent conversation. Please contact Taryn Edwards if you have any questions or if you would like to be a panelist. [email protected]

Rick Homan writers murder mysteries and suspense novels. His Nicole Tang Noonan mysteries are set on a college campus in rural Ohio and in San Francisco, Nicole's home town. Prior to taking up the craft of crime fiction, Rick performed as an actor and guitarist. Find out more at www.rickhoman.com.
