“You Can Be a Winning Writer: the 4 C’s of Successful Authors: Craft, Commitment, Community and Confidence” with Joan Gelfund

In this lively one hour workshop, author Joan Gelfand will present the formula for success devised over ten years of coaching, teaching and mentoring writers at conferences and professional groups. A significant portion of the program will be devoted to Q&A, making this a dynamic and important workshop for both aspiring and published authors.

 

Joan Gelfund is the author of three acclaimed poetry collections, an award-winning chapbook of short fiction and a forthcoming novel set in a Silicon Valley startup. She is the recipient of over twenty awards, honors and commendations. A member of the National Book Critics Circle and a judge for the Northern California Book Awards, Joan has served as President of the Women’s National Book Association. She has an MFA from Mills College and lives in San Francisco.
