The mystique and romance of 21st century Los Angeles is captured in this musical about youth, talent and ambition. Mia is an aspiring actress struggling with inattentive casting directors and a day job as a barista. Sebastian is a jazz pianist coping with employers who insist on traditional playlists. Both are talented and driven. Are they destined for each other? This film offers wonderful dance numbers and songs, but a more bittersweet story than most traditional musical comedies.
