South Asians in the South Bay: The Privileged Immigrants
With Jeevan Zutshi

Offered in partnership with the Indo- American Community Federation and the Institute for Historical Study, IACF founder Jeevan Zutshi will talk about the South Asian community that has developed in Fremont, San Jose, Palo Alto, and other South Bay towns over the past 30 thirty years. He will describe the history of South Asian immigration; illustrate the community that has since developed and its specific socio-cultural needs that led him to form the Indian American Community Federation. This group, now approaching its 25th anniversary, has cooperated with a number of groups and city organizations, to participate in civic improvements and general American life.

Free to all. No reservations required.
