Soon after, Inspector Veeteren’s young colleague disappears, and the search to identify the killer intensifies. First published in 1994, the second book in Håkan Nesser’s Inspector Van Veeteren Mystery was translated from Swedish to English in 2006 by Laurie Thompson.
