Among Women Only
by Cesare Pavese

A successful couturier returns to her birthplace of Turin days after the end of WWII. While she relaxes at the best hotel, the calm subsides when she glances into the hallway only to witnesses an unconscious young woman being carried away due to a Veronal overdose. Among Women Only is a celebrated work of post-war Italian realism, winning Italy's highest literary honor, the Strega Prize.

This group meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month (excluding holidays). All MI members are welcome to drop in to these meetings.
